Disability Snowsport
What Disability Snowsport UK does
We work to make sure that anyone with a disability, may it be learning, sensory or physical, can ski or snowboard alongside other people.
We are a membership organisation, and welcome anyone of any levels of skiing and fitness. We cater for complete novices to snowsports all the way to experienced Armed Forces men and women for example.
If you fancy skiing or snowboarding with us, or if you know someone who would enjoy it, this is what we offer:
Ski lessons in indoor slopes and Cairngorm Mountain Ski School
Our ski lessons are for all levels of skiing, whether you are a beginner or expert.
Our Ski School in the Highlands is open in the winter months.
If you are a snowboarder, or wanting to become one, please read our Adaptive Snowboarding statement
Local Groups
If you want to meet and ski with other people at indoor and outdoor slopes throughout the UK, you can join one of our Local Groups.
Activity Weeks abroad
Every year, we go seek the mountains and snow in the rest of Europe and the USA.
Places for these trips sell very fast, so make sure you check our website regularly at the end of the summer to see what trips are organised and book your place. Priority is given to our members.
British Disabled Ski Team
People with years of experience of skiing and ski racing aspire to join the British Disabled Ski Team.
The Team currently includes people from a wide range of backgrounds, from the skiing aficionado to the Armed Forces person, ages and disabilities.
